Austin resident Dustin Lloyd Bissell died Dec. 4, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 31.
A private family celebration of life was held at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.
Mr. Bissell was born in Edgewood, Iowa, Sept. 2, 1982, to Curtis and Gayla (Bond) Bissell. He grew up on a farm in Edgewood and graduated from Ed-Co High School in 2000. He attended Iowa State University.
In 2007 he moved to Austin and started his business, Bissell Mobile Service.
He married Rachel Vigil on July 18, 2009, in Grand Junction.
He enjoyed his large family, snowboarding and watching movies.
Mr. Bissell is survived by his wife, Rachel of Austin; brothers, Clete Bissell, Zach Bissell and Josh Bissell, all of Eckert; six sisters, Hayley (Keith) Wiggins of Gunnison, Heidi (Chris) Kluesner of Farley, Iowa, Heather (Steve) Downer of Aurora, Iowa, Sara (Ross) McCool of Dyersville, Iowa, Megan (Troy) Heiderscheit of Farley, Iowa, and Lindsay Bissell of Millville, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jade Bissell; and his father-in-law, Ben Vigil.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
