Eliria A. Trujillo died Dec. 23, 2013, at her home in Delta. She was 79.
A private family viewing and rosary were held Dec. 28 at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.
Eliria A. Salazer was born in Las Nutiras, N.M., Aug. 21, 1934, to Cipriano and Adeliade Salazar. She spent her childhood and attended schools in New Mexico and Colorado.
On Jan. 27, 1957, she married Nick Trujillo in Delta. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in 2013.
Mrs. Trujillo enjoyed being a wife and mother, outdoor picnics, traveling, spending time in the mountains and going on fishing trips with her family.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Delta.
Mrs. Trujillo is survived by her husband, Nick Trujillo of Delta; three sons, Henry (Marlene) Trujillo and Audie Trujillo, all of Grand Junction, and Nick (Patricia) Trujillo of Morgantown, W.Va.; one brother, Benny Salazar of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters, Lita (Fred) Vigil of Grand Junction and Shirley (Tom) May of Federal Way, Wash.; and four grandsons, Aaron Trujillo, Daniel Trujillo, Benjamin Trujillo and Nathan Gilka.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
