A new holiday event for Cedaredge this year proved to be a big hit with local families on Parade of Lights day last Saturday.
Habitat for Humanity of Delta County hosted an afternoon of family house building, that is gingerbread houses, at the community center.
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Dr. Jeff Hirsch, DVM, Surface Creek Veterinary Center, presented Cedaredge Police Chief Dan Sanders with three checks totaling $535. According to Hirsch, the checks are donations to the Cedaredge Police Department's ongoing fundraiser to purchase a new police dog to replace K-9 Buddy.
