The Water Center at Colorado Mesa University is pleased to announce two exciting opportunities to learn about water in our region: an eight-hour "Water Law in a Nutshell" class on Friday, Sept. 21, and a water tour of the Uncompahgre Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Both events are open to the general public.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Delta County recently announced an application cutoff date of Monday, July 2, in order to be considered for 2013 funding in the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
Submitted eligible applications that are received after July 2 will be considered during a later time and will be processed throughout the fiscal year as needed.
