Guide to food preservation is available

Colorado State University's Delta Extension Office is now offering "So Easy to Preserve," a complete, step-by-step guide detailing how to preserve almost anything you'd ever eat! This 376-page book explains pressure canning, water-bath canning, dehydration, pickling and freezing, and includes recipes for preserving vegetables, fruits and meats.

This is the same book used by Extension in their canning classes — and the cost for all this is just $20. For a small fee, we'll even ship!

Stop into the Delta Extension Office, located at 525 Dodge Street, in Delta, to pick up your copy — and, while you're there, browse through our other selections, many of which are free! The office is open weekdays, from 8 a.m. to noon, and from 1-5 p.m. For more information, call 874-2195.
