The Small Hydro Handbook provides a step-by-step process for tapping the potential for small hydro power on existing water pipes, water diversions, impoundments or new water infrastructure in Colorado.

This 376-page book explains pressure canning, water-bath canning, dehydration, pickling and freezing, and includes recipes for preserving vegetables, fruits and meats.
In order to meet Farm Service Agency (FSA) program eligibility requirements, producers are reminded by USDA state executive director Leland Swenson to submit their annual report of acreage to their local FSA county office by July 15.
"Producers must file their reports accurately and timely for all crops and land uses, including prevented and failed acreage, to ensure they receive the maximum FSA program benefits possible," said Swenson.
The number of Colorado schools and districts participating in farm to school activities has tripled over the past three years. With this increased interest in connecting schools with local products, the Colorado Farm to School Task Force is inviting interested individuals to join the group.
