Alpine Bank is pleased to announce the purchase of a refrigerated delivery truck for Sharing Ministries.
Sharing Ministries has been in operation since 1996 serving as the food bank for Montrose and the surrounding region.
Over 5,300 people are served each month.
Josh Freed, Sharing Ministries board member, reached out to Alpine Bank for assistance. With a refrigerated truck, Sharing Ministries will be able to expand the types of food donations that can be accepted.
"Alpine Bank's ability to see a need and do everything possible to meet that need is a testament to the generosity of their members," Freed said. "This new food truck will be seen picking up and delivering food throughout Montrose and our surrounding communities. We can't thank Alpine Bank and our community enough for helping Sharing Ministries continue to reach those in need throughout our region."
