A golf tournament to benefit the County Sheriffs of Colorado (CSOC) was highly successful, raising over $10,000 to help the County Sheriffs of Colorado become an even stronger organization. Fifty-four of the state’s sheriffs, Colorado Sheriffs and other plaintiffs have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against two bills signed into law by Governor John Hickenlooper, House Bill 1224 (magazine ban) and 1229 (sales and temporary transfers of firearms). “With these funds, the county sheriffs can continue their fight,” McKee said. He also expressed appreciation to Rob Sanders, manager of Devil’s Thumb Golf Club, and his crew, and to the many tournament sponsors, including Image 1440 Apparel, Swede’s Shop, Magic Carpet, Industrial Systems Inc., and Ahlberg Farms. Representing the sponsors in the photo above are Shawn Becker and Ronald Johnson.
