On Monday, May 21, the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service issued stage one fire restrictions within Gunnison County on public lands.  At this time, only lands within the Gunnison Ranger District for the Forest Service are affected by the restrictions.

More than 200 qualified, community-based non-profit organizations in Colorado will receive funding from Wells Fargo through the 19th annual Wells Fargo Community Assistance Fund. The fund is just one component of Wells Fargo's overall philanthropic efforts. In 2011, Wells Fargo's community contributions in Colorado totaled $3.7 million to approximately 1,000 organizations, and the company team members logged more than 28,000 volunteer hours.
