Kami Collins, who left her position as executive director of the Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce on April 17, wants to assure area residents that she's remaining in town. In fact, she's going to be working as Cedaredge's new town clerk and economic development coordinator.
The Town of Cedaredge board of trustees met for a brief executive session and a longer work session on Thursday, April 12. The purpose of the executive session was stated on the special meeting agenda as being "for a conference with attorney for purpose of receiving legal advice."
The Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center (GMAEC) has issued an invitation to all interested citizens to attend a public meeting to learn more about the center and share their ideas for center activities. The informational question and answer event will be held Wednesday, April 18, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Cedaredge Civic Center at 140 NW 2nd Street.
