Photo submitted Linda Roper sets off on her bike to deliver Mother’s Day gifts for children to present.As is the custom, all the children participating in the Families Plus program and their siblings were provided with a present to give their mothers and a little coaching to express their appreciation of her. This year they presented her with a blooming blue lobelia plant in a little pot with a bow and tag.

The City of Delta has removed trees on West 5th Street due to tree roots lifting sidewalks. The city crews will be replacing the sidewalks during the City of Delta's concrete replacement program.
