Family benefit

Jeanine Hovel and Karen Wagner, Redeemer Lutheran Church members, serve hamburgers and hotdogs at a fundraiser for the family of Pastor Jeffrey Ryan. Pastor Ryan was serving at Redeemer Lutheran Church when he died suddenly, leaving behind a wife and three young children. The fundraiser was co-sponsored by Pioneer Propane and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and included an auction.

Also pictured are Kaete’s dad and Derek’s mom.On Saturday, June 1, kids aged 2-16 participated in this year's Youth Fishing Derby, held at Confluence Lake as part of Delta's fourth annual Outdoor Heritage Day.

The "Pathway to Fishing" program was carried out this year by Colorado Sportsmen Wildlife Fund.
