Photo by Pat Sunderland Make that to go, please Members of the Surface Creek Women’s Club paraded their horses through the drive-through lanes at McDonald’s last Saturday, part of an exercise to teach their horses to feel more comfortable around pedestrians and vehicles. Officer Ted Holland, a POST-certified mounted police instructor from Mountain Village, worked with the women all day Saturday. His wife graciously scooped up the deposits left by the horses as they made their way from McDonald’s to a short ride around town. Officer Holland and his mount, Comanche, work Telluride’s many festivals.
