The removal of trees in downtown Delta may be the catalyst that breathes life back into a lagging downtown revitalization effort.

The Community Revitalization Partnership was launched in 2010 at the encouragement of former city manager Joe Kerby.

Source: Delta County Assessor’s Office Three classes of county real estate continue declines in value that began in 2008. Percent change is shown at left. Declining values are reflected on many notices of valuation recently received by property owners from the Delta County Assessor’s Office. One other class of county real estate, agricultural land, posted average increase in value for 2013 due largely to higher commodity prices.The general decline in Delta County home values that began in 2008 is still trending downward. From 2010 into 2012 the trend accelerated slightly.
