With the help of a dedicated team of volunteers and the generosity of the Delta County community the Bill Heddles Recreation Center was transformed for the Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado's annual Denim & Diamonds Gala.

Community Resources and Housing Development Corporation (CRHDC), a non-profit committed to providing pathways to housing resources and asset building opportunities for people in Colorado, is pleased to announce that it has won the 2012 Affordable Housing Finance Magazine's Readers' Choice Award in the category of Best Rural Project for its farmworker housing development, Alta Vista de la Montaña in Delta.

Alta Vista de la Montaña is a 41-unit agricultural community that allows for families to reside together in larger units.
