Pumpkin painting

The Lee Marts VFW Post and Auxiliary of Delta hosted a pumpkin painting for residents of Willow Tree on Monday. The activity took place in the Sun Room and provided a dozen or more people the chance for an interesting addition to daily routines. Shown above participating in the event are Nancy Johnson, right, and Cindy Bokelman.

The Delta Public Library, Delta Friends of the Library, VFW Post 3571 and its Ladies Auxiliary are partnering for an annual support the troops campaign. They request donations from Delta area citizens for care package items and monetary donations for purchasing calling cards to be sent to service personnel stationed overseas to allow them to call loved ones at home during the coming holiday season.
