The Delta County Commissioners and county administration on Oct. 1 held a recognition observance honoring 19 employees who have attained service milestones with the county of 10 to 35 years.

Recognized for 35 years of service were Ralph Clark, District No. 3 road foreman, and William Carpenter, equipment operator.

Bernie Musser conducted a recent trip through Escalante Canyon for some of the club members calling themselves "Tired and Retired". Musser, a member of the group, was the ideal person to tell the stories of the canyon.
