Kaleb Trefren runs fastest 5K

And they’re off! Runners and walkers left the starting line on Hotchkiss Avenue and made the turn onto Cedar Drive to compete in the Kappa Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi third annual 5K run/walk during the stock dog trials weekend.
Many happy souls participated in the Kappa Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi third annual 5K run/walk Saturday morning, May 12. The event raised money for the Women Advancing Math and Science Scholarship Fund.

These are the fastest times in each age group of the 77 runners and walkers:

10 and under — Grey Neal 24:54:00

11 to 14 — Jake Trefren 24:51:00

15 to 18 — Kaleb Bayles 22:47:24

19 to 29 — Jessica McGratz 23:19:00

30 to 40 — Matt Brezonick 24:58:27

41 to 50 ­— Greg Powers 28:18:00

51 to 60 — Mark Mendez-Vigo 25:38:00

61 to 70 — Carol Dawson 54:29:00

71 and up — Kathy Tembrock 54:29:00
