But, now there is help in the form of an app for cell phones and Internet which, with the push of one button, will update and boost the signal by 40 to 50 percent.

Curtis McCoy, who owns Boss Cellular in Hotchkiss, developed the application for Android Smart cell phones. He will shortly have the app for iPhones as well.

The beauty of his app is that it works with any network worldwide. Within the first week of the app's launch, it shot to the Top 10 of apps worldwide. People have downloaded the app from China, India, Mexico, the U.S. and many other countries.

McCoy has done web design since 2001. He also developed the number one health and fitness forum in the nation, www.befitforfree.net. He has over 11,000 members on the site and over 10,500 posts.

McCoy will load the free app on anyone's cell phone who comes into his store at 246 E. Bridge Street in Hotchkiss. He can be reached at 872-BOSS or by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

The app can't make a network stronger, but it will update the connection so a cell phone user can have the strongest signal in the area.
