Paonia lighting winners named

Photos by Barbara Peterson Above is the winner in the Paonia Holiday Lighting Contest. This decorated home and yard by Robert More is located at 56 Cedar Drive. Second place (right) went to Karl Buchholz at 107 Dorris Avenue.Each year the Town of Paonia conducts a holiday lighting contest. The judges are town clerk Barbara Peterson, Liane Mattson and Katya Schwieterman.

The winners of the 2012 contest are:

First place — 56 Cedar Drive, Robert More, $50.

Second place — 107 Dorris Avenue, Karl Buchholz, $25.

Third place — 40467 Mathews Lane, Betty Mueller, $10.

Kids Choice/Honorable Mention — 510 Fifth Street, Kevin Lee.
