Crawford chamber meets Jan. 14

At the Crawford Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting in November, new and renewing board members were elected. They are Susan Ayer, Cathy Cheatham, Deb French, Connie Layton, Pauline Polson, Judy Rundle, Connie Sanders, Lynne Watkins and Christie Young.

Chamber board meetings are generally held on the second Monday of each month, at 4 p.m., at the Crawford Country Bank. The next meeting will be Monday, Jan. 14. Call one of the board members for more information.

The Old Timers/Newcomers Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 5 p.m. at the Crawford Town Hall. Businesses can purchase a table for $10 to set up a display for their business. Nominations for Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year and Volunteer of the Year will be taken at the board meeting.
