Hoop shoot winners
The Hotchkiss Elks Lodge hosted its annual hoop shoot recently. The winners, pictured from the left, are: (back) Clayton Oxford, second in 12-13 division; Daniella Baxter, first in 10-11; Brittney Thliveris, first in 12-13; Olivia Carney, second in 12-13; Noah Kropp, first in 12-13; and Colby Wilson, first in 8-9; (front) David Lozano, first in 10-11; Jamison Yanish, second in 10-11; Candace Siebler, first in 8-9; MyKayla Helm, second in 10-11; Genevieve Fisher, second in 8-9; and Caleb Roberts, second in 8-9. The winner in each age group will compete in the district contest, set for Jan. 21 in Cortez.
