Meeting on PHS sports facility is set for March 18

Paonia High School, in partnership with the Town of Paonia and with the help of a citizens committee, is holding the first of a series of public meetings in an effort to create plans for a multi-use sports facility on Monday, March 18, at 7 p.m., at the high school.

The planning process, which is expected to take about five months, is being funded primarily by grants from Great Outdoors Colorado and Bear Ranch.

Community members are urged to bring ideas and questions to the meeting. A second meeting is planned for May 24, and the final meeting will be held in July.
