Last Friday, a homeowner failed to stop and drove his van through two walls of his own home. His van was stuck in the house.
Spinning tires on the cement created a large amount of smoke, causing concern the van was on fire inside the home. Luckily neither the van nor the home caught on fire. The Hotchkiss Fire District blew the smoke out of the home with large fans.

His family was inside the house at the time of the accident, but no one was injured, including the driver.
