Vandals were busy last Friday night in Crawford. Crawford Mayor Susie Steckel is offering a $100 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person or individuals responsible for the graffiti.
According to Steckel, her son's truck was sprayed with black paint, as were stop signs, the portable toilet at Pioneer Park and Crawford Town Hall's children's play area, dumpster, outdoor stage and the concrete on the west side of the building. Those with information may call town hall at 921-4725.
The damage was done sometime after 10 p.m. on Friday, April 5. Don Ludwig of the public works department notified the mayor of the vandalism.
"The Sheriff's Department is on this. They responded right away," Steckel said.
Unfortunately, the new security camera system for Crawford Town Hall approved by the town council has not yet been installed.blog comments powered by Disqus
