NFMAD cancels board election

With just two candidates for the two open positions on the North Fork Mosquito Abatement District (NFMAD) board, the 2012 election has been cancelled. The special district was to hold its board election in May.

Mike Heck and Chuck Gille will join the board in May, when Tara Budinger and Kris Kropp step down at the end of their four-year terms.

The announcement was made at the March 19 NFMAD board meeting.
