Eva Dransfield and Kacey Kropp, both of Paonia, have been recognized as First-Year Scholars for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Northern Colorado. To be named a First-Year Scholar, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for their first semester at UNC.
