Colorado Life Magazine will feature an article about Paonia in its September/October 2013 issue. Colorado Life writer Matt Masich will travel to Paonia in June to research the story, which will include photographs by Chris Council and Emily Chaplin.
North Fork Valley residents with local story leads about colorful characters and interesting anecdotes are asked to contact the magazine.
Colorado Life celebrates the people and places of Colorado through stories and photos. The Paonia article will tell the magazine's 80,000-plus readers about the people, current happenings, history and culture to be found in town as well as the broader region.
"We're writing about Paonia to give our readers a taste of life in the North Fork Valley," said Colorado Life Magazine editor and publisher Christopher Amundson. "In our story about Paonia, we will explore what is unique about the community and what makes it an interesting place to live, work and visit."
The September/October issue featuring Paonia will be available to subscribers and newsstand readers Sept. 1.
