On Saturday, Dec. 1, the Bureau of Land Management's Uncompahgre Field Office and the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area will implement seasonal road closures on approximately 17,570 acres within the Gunnison sage grouse area of critical environmental concern.

Under the annual closures, C-77, Black Ridge and Red Canyon Road are closed to motorized and mechanical uses effective immediately through May 15, 2013.

The 20th annual Holiday Art Fair will happen Friday, Nov. 30, from 5-8 p.m. and all day Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9-5 at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts in Paonia.

The Holiday Art Fair was founded in 1992 by Celia Roberts.
