A God and Nature Day Camp will be held at Willow Heights Park from July 15 through Aug. 2. Lee Byran, representing Alpine Resort Ministries of Hotchkiss, said the purpose would be to promote the use of outdoor spaces in town and to provide a character-based event that is fun, safe and free.

Photo by Kathy Browning Joy of joys it’s time for the Hotchkiss Sheep Camp Stock Dog Trials May 10-12. The dogs love it and the sheep seemed bemused and sometimes flustered. Admission is $4 on Friday, $5 Saturday and $5 Sunday.It's nearly here! And it's a homegrown success story.
