Insurance won’t cover all of Paonia’s losses

During his finance committee report at the Nov. 13 Paonia Town Council meeting, trustee Larry Wissbeck announced that the town should not expect to be fully reimbursed for money alleged to have been stolen over a four-year period.

According to Wissbeck, the town's insurance company, CIRSA, told Jim Briscoe, town attorney, the full amount stolen is not covered in their policy.

Those wanting to join the North Fork Ambulance Association as an EMT need to apply by the Dec. 6 board meeting in order to be considered for NFAA funding for the January class.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class will be held at Delta-Montrose Technical College (DMTC).
