Charlotte Ambrose is well-known for walking every day from Somerset to Paonia. The thin English woman, who came to the U.S. as a war bride, has lunch at the Paonia Senior Center and visits local shops before heading back home.

Hotchkiss sets town cleanup for May 16-18

The Town of Hotchkiss is sponsoring cleanup days for in-town residents. Cleanup days will take place on May 16, 17 and 18 at the sewer pond.
