The Four Amigos won second place with their Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger. Receiving their prize are (front row, left to right) Jessyca Scanlon and Josie Hiatt; (back row) Wyatt Pearce and Jackson Little.

The first quarter beef cook-off by Hotchkiss seventh and eighth graders was held on Oct. 5. The winning main dish was Zippy Ground Beef Skillet by the team Beefie Bros.

October will be a busy month at the Creamery Art Center, including a very special show. Opening night reception on Friday, Oct. 12, will feature the fabulous emotive photos of Vendla Stockdale and George Brauneis in a exhibit titled: "Shadow Horse in the Peach Gallery."
