AWANA clubs begin Oct. 3

The Bible Center Church at 1117 E 3rd Street in Paonia will start AWANA Club for the 2012-13 season Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.

The AWANA Club is for K-6th graders and is a Bible-based club that teaches children to hide God's Word in their hearts through Bible study and memorization.

North Fork Ambulance Association (NFAA) had a membership drive at Hotchkiss City Market on Saturday. NFAA has posters in Hotchkiss, Paonia and Crawford asking if people have seen this envelope come in their mail. “Many folks may not know it is their NFAA membership form for new members and for renewals,” Kathy Steckel, NFAA director, says.
