New Hotchkiss residents

A mother fox had seven kits recently on Duke Hill. These three came out from their burrow last Wednesday afternoon as the snow was lightly falling to investigate their surroundings. Looks like the one in the middle is the runt of the litter.

Those who live within the town limits of Crawford can begin preparing for a major spring cleanup sponsored by the Town of Crawford.

The Crawford public works department will be collecting and hauling trash to the landfill from Monday, May 13, to Thursday, May 16.
