Health clinic gets big boost

Jenny Mitchell, nurse practitioner and founder of the Needlerock Family Health Clinic in Crawford, received a much needed donation last Wednesday from Oxbow Group. A $5,000 check was presented to Mitchell by Mike Ludlow, Oxbow executive vice president, and Steve Lewis, manager of human resources.

Work funded by an ADA grant and with in-kind donations from Delta County will add ADA ramps, handrails and van-accessible parking for both the upper and lower parking lots at Crawford Town Hall.

Phase I of the renovation of Crawford Town Hall was to be completed by Sept. 1. It's over due by a month.
