Truck rolls off road

A one-ton flat bed truck carrying drill stems rolled off Highway 92 and into the Hotchkiss Rentals yard on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 4:30 in the morning.

The driver, Brian Easton, 29, of Casper, Wyo., was uninjured.

West Elk Mountain Rescue calls for volunteers

The West Elk Mountain Rescue (WEMR) is a group of unpaid volunteers dedicating our time to rescuing lost and injured people. We are under the authority of the Gunnison County Sheriff Department.
