Sewer line being repaired
As of last Friday, Paonia public works director Travis Loberg expects work on the sewer line on Third Street to be completed by the middle of this week. The town crew plus Eddie Clements and Accurate Concrete Cutting worked on repairing the sewer line. The old sewer line was made of clay tiles. The line collapsed and has resulted in five weeks of work to put in the new line. Work began in front of the Paonia Library and is finishing up just before Grand Avenue. Traffic has been routed around the major holes in Third Street.
