Johnson named lead trumpet in All-State Jazz Band

It is with great pride that the DHS band program announces Jake Johnson's selection to the Colorado All-State Jazz Band. This is the third time in four years Jake has been selected to perform in this prestigious ensemble.

Johnson was not only selected to play in this group, he was also chosen to play lead in the trumpet section. The band will be performing at the Colorado Music Educator Association's annual convention in January.
