Following the presentation of the Red, Blue and Gold Clubrecipients, principal Carrie Coats kissed a a six-week old pig owned by Tiffany Clock. Tiffany's mother, Lynette Clock, brought in Chili and held the pig while Coats puckered up. Coats said it showed how much she loved the students to kiss a pig, as well as commitment and follow through. The students had put money in jars for either Coats or assistant principal Jay Ritter. Coats had $2.86 less than Ritter and won the opportunity to kiss the cute pig. Proceeds will benefit Helping Hands.
The photo of the Red Club members will appear in the April 24 issue of the DCI.
