Flash mob

As the 2012-13 school year came to a conclusion, Lincoln Elementary School students took part in a “flash mob” to help them remember to keep reading all summer long. Dance captains led students and teachers through the moves which incorporated books as props. Flash mobs normally appear to be more spontaneous, but it takes a little more organization to get 550 students and staff members into position for a schoolwide event. The City of Delta provided a “cherry picker” so principal Paul Rodriguez could take a bird’s eye video of the event.
