This year, one of the $10,000 awards will be shared equally by twin sisters Skylar and Jordan Smith.

The turning of the tassels marked the completion of another school year at Delta-Montrose Technical College. DMTC held its all-school graduation ceremony at the Delta Center for Performing Arts and Education on Thursday, May 16.

Photo Submitted DCV scholarship At the recent Cedaredge High School scholarship dinner, Jessica Chevalier was presented with a $1,000 scholarship by Karen Locke on behalf of the Deer Creek Villages Homeowners Association. It is an annual award given to a deserving student who applies and plans to pursue continuing education. Jessica plans to major in art and minor in business at Colorado Mesa University.

Delta-Montrose Technical College (DMTC) graduated 29 practical nursing students at the Delta Center for Performing Arts and Education. Graduation marks the completion of rigorous study and clinical responsibility.

The May 17 graduation ceremony opened with graduating student Colleen Thliveris and a friend, Wendy Bodwell, singing "God Bless America."
