Road show
The Delta High School Marching Band has been perfecting its field show since August, performing at home football games and at a clinic in Delta in late September. They took their show on the road Saturday, Oct. 6, for the Colorado West Marching Festival in Grand Junction. They placed second in Class 2A, behind Utah’s Grand County High School, for their interpretation of a Cirque de Soleil show called “Quidam.” Coming up next is a state-qualifying regional meet, also to be held in Grand Junction. The state championships are Oct. 29 at CSU in Pueblo.
