Paonia DI team wins second place

Paonia Elementary’s Destination Imagination team, The Golden Craniums, finished second at the Western Regional DI Tournament at Palisade High School last Saturday. The Golden Craniums competed in the middle school division under the “In the Zone” challenge. They built three cars that used differing propulsion methods, and which had to stop in specific zones to earn points.They also prepared and performed an original skit.

The DCMH Volunteers will award scholarships for 2013 graduates who plan to continue their education in any health-care related field. Applicants may be graduates of any Delta County high school.
