a05 scholarshipsDHS scholarship recipientsGraduates, parents and donors gathered at Bill Heddles Recreation Center Thursday, May 9, for Delta High School's fifth annual senior scholarship breakfast. The event is an opportunity for representatives from local businesses, service clubs and non-profit organizations to meet the students who will benefit from their generosity, and for the students, parents and staff of DHS to thank the contributors who awarded nearly $63,000 in local scholarships.

National History Day competition was held in Denver the first week in May. Ten Delta Middle School students completed projects that qualified them for state competition. While none of them advanced to finals, they had a fun learning experience. National History Day is part of the school district’s eighth-grade curriculum.
