Learning about agriculture

As part of its lesson on farms, the BELA Preschool from Hotchkiss K8 School made a visit to Big B’s Juice in Hotchkiss. The students had a great time watching as apples were turned to fresh juice. They then enjoyed sampling the sweet treat. Celebrating the change of seasons

Students from Garnet Mesa created fall wreaths to celebrate the changing seasons. The kindergartners gathered leaves, twigs, berries, flowers and other fall symbols to contribute to the project.
