Paonia students soar to success
The month of March sees the arrival of state testing in Delta County Schools. To kick off the 2013 tests at Paonia Elementary School and encourage students to put forth their best efforts, the staff recognized students who had high growth or advanced scores on their 2012 tests. Pictured above are the fourth grade students who scored advanced in one or more subjects: Ashton Brady, Allison Godwin, Teresa Martinez, Christo Mora, Abby Reedy and Zander Sweezey.
Fifth grade students who scored advanced or had high growth in one or more subjects included Aspen Lopez, Carly Horn, Logan Green, Lyla Hayutin-Baril, Alexis Beller, Brandon Koncher, Ellia Carlson, Jalyn Walker, Joseph Nolan, Dagan Schwartz, Marlyanna McLeland, Katya Schwieterman, Nicole Jefferis, Samuel Mock, Caelee Martinez, Robert Holloman, Tao Freeman and Urijah Kolb.
Sixth grade students who scored advanced or had high growth in one or more subjects included Seth Brinton, Leo Chapman, Sackett Chesnick, Jade Ellenberger, Harley Ewert, Sabrina Leighton, Ayla Bristow, Caleb Scroggs, Celine Audin, Jaquelin Mora, Katelyn Coffey, Kelsie Johnson, Amanda VanVleet, Anthony Felice, Chance Bills, Dantrick Reed, Poppy Lightfoot, Dustin Largent, Jesse Burns, Sierra Baker, Faith Esquibel, Larrea Horner and Trinity Valdez. The PES staff is extremely proud of all of the students and know that they will perform just as well in 2013 as they did in 2012.
