The Delta County 4-H shooting sports program members and adult advisors presented Orchard City with a thanks on Feb. 12 for donating a water tap to the shooting range west of Eckert. The outside-of-town tap is valued at $15,500. At center-right in the photo, Mayor Don Suppes receives a plaque on behalf of the town trustees from Jackie Goza, Tri-River extension youth agent. Last summer, the town trustees donated a water tap to the facility where local 4-H'ers learn about firearm safety, develop personal responsibility and character, and hone their national-level shooting sports skills.
