To the person defending animals from "dirt wads": There certainly are those who have no feelings for anything, let alone animals. I would take any animal I didn't want or found to the proper authorities.
It was cruel to "dump" the dog with a broken leg. I wonder if anyone has donated for its care yet. I doubt it.
Why I write is to say our priorities could be off kilter. We now live in a state that wants pot legal and it is. We live in a nation that authorizes abortion. Fifty million souls are in heaven because someone didn't want them to live for their own personal reasons. The population needs to be at a certain level for a nation to continue and it, along with others who sanction abortion, are below that level. That being the least of the problem, I add that until America puts God back into the equation, we will continue to deteriorate and become just like all the powers who were on top of the world and let that power be their downfall. Abortion is only one of many problems we face as a nation. How about 47 million on welfare, a $7 billion farm bill where the bulk goes to welfare. Social security gets less than 3%. I won't waste any more space like the animal lover did. Suffice to say, if you want animals to get the love and respect you say they deserve, let it start with human life. God bless you and America.
