Chicken farm blends well with surroundings

Dear Editor:

I want to commend Kathy Browning on her report of the chicken operation on Powell Mesa. What a fine article in as much as it covered all the effort that was put forth to show that the fearmongering by those opposed was based not on fact but unfounded or made-up fears.

The one thing not mentioned in the article, but apparent in the picture, is that the Hostetlers made every effort to make the building blend with the surrounding area. I have driven by and encouraged others to drive by and see what a fine job was done in making the building blend with the surrounding landscape.
